From the Founder – Thankful, Grateful & Blessed

As I was sitting down to write this, there was still an entire month left in 2023. It was Thanksgiving weekend, and the air was filled with thoughts of gratitude that led me to reflect on the events and people who have shaped this past year. While my blogs typically delve into serious financial topics such as the stock market or interest rates, this month, my thoughts are centered around something more profound—people.

First and foremost, I find myself overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible individuals God has placed in my life. Naturally, my family takes the spotlight, with a truly remarkable wife who is an undeniable blessing and four wonderful children. The realization that two of them are now adults is both surreal and heartwarming.

I’m equally thankful for the exceptional team we have here at Preservation Specialist’s. When I initially started this company, the idea of having so many gifted and talented individuals on board was beyond my wildest dreams. It stands as a testament to their unwavering faith in our shared vision of building a great company that serves our clients and community with dedication.

Friendship is another aspect of life’s blessings that I find myself increasingly grateful for as the years unfold. The varied ways in which friends enter our lives—from childhood and college buddies to neighbors, colleagues, and even those whose paths cross professionally—are truly awe-inspiring. This year, I’ve cultivated great friendships that began as professional relationships, underscoring the richness of human connection.

Of course, my gratitude extends to you, our clients, who place your trust in us and seek our guidance on crucial financial matters. In my discussions and writings about financial topics, I want you to understand that the subject matter is only significant because you are important. Whether it’s helping you save money through tax planning or assisting you in defining and achieving your financial goals, it’s all about enhancing the quality of your life and helping you navigate the journey to a better future.
